It is our goal to help each child achieve their greatest potential through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Located in Bergen County, the Berger Learning Group works with families from throughout the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area. Our center-based program provides a range of ABA services for children with special needs as well as typically-developing children varying in age from 18 months to 18 years.

Specialized Services We Provide

1:1 ABA/VB instruction

Individualized skills are taught and reinforced through both discrete trial (DTT) and natural environment teaching (NET)

Social skills groups

We offer social skills groups focusing on age-appropriate social behaviors from toddlers to young adults

Parent training

BLG believes that parent training is key to the success of any ABA program

Classroom behavioral support (shadowing)

Our focus is providing just the right amount of support while promoting independence

School consultations

We work with families and school districts in determining the appropriateness of a school placement or the function of disruptive behaviors at school

FBAs and BIPs

In order to effectively address challenging behaviors, a functional behavioral assessment (FBA) is conducted and a positive behavior intervention plan (BIP) is created for implementation at school and/or home

Our office is easily accessible from Routes 4, 17, 80 & 208, I-95 and the Garden State Parkway and offers a fun, structured learning environment for our learners. Local shops, restaurants and parks enhance learning opportunities as well as provide families with activities during their child's session.

Home and community-based hours (sessions) are also available for parent training, school consultations and classroom behavioral support.
